Claiming prime real estate

Ever since Tomie arrived, we've been pondering her face, wondering who she looks most like. Of course she looks just like herself, but like all parents, we are parsing out her facial features and attributing them to either one or the other parent. It's almost as if we are prospectors, laying claim to parcels of baby face. That nose is all me! Those cheeks are mine!

Here's what we came up with,

* Cheeks are all Asato, plump and round
* Chin and lips are like Josh's when he was a baby
* Nose is (according to Josh) "structurally Ishimatsu, but with Kumata (Jolynn's mom's side) flourishes". (If that intrigues you, ask Josh what he meant.)
* Puffy eyes are like Josh's
* Open eyes are like Jolynn's
* Basically, the consensus is that when her eyes are closed, she looks more like Josh, but when they're open, she looks more like Jo.
