Mom's been slacking

Whoops,

Before I knew it, another week has gone by. I've been exhausted because Tomie's most recent developmental stage includes not sleeping at night. She figured out that if she cried at night, someone comes by to pick her up. So now she won't sleep in her crib by herself. Sigh. But she's forgiven because she's soooo cute. Heh heh.

In the meantime, I've got to catch up with what's been going on. We had some more visitors! First, Jen Yee and her adorable little girl, Alia came by to say Hi to Tomie.




Manuel and Samantha came back to say hi again and this time they brought Yani! Although its been nine years, Yani hasn't lost her newborn touch. Ready for another baby, Manuel?


Also, check out Samantha holding Tomie again...look at how much bigger Tomie is. Now Tomie totally fills out Samantha's arms. Pretty amazing. I see her everyday so I don't totally notice how much she grows day to day. (Except when I have a rude awakening like when her newborn diapers that I stocked up the diaper bag with now only covers her right cheek. Drama.) But it was pretty dramatic to see the difference from just a couple of weeks with Samantha as a perspective marker. Whoa.


But perhaps the biggest news is that Tomie participated in the passing of the grandparent baton. Grandma Ishimatsu had to go home (Boo hoo.) But not before overlapping with Grandma and Grandpa Asato! (Yey!) So at least Tomie is not at a loss for admirers! But not to worry, Grandma Ishimatsu will be back. She can't stay away from her precious!
