The past four months in 100 words or less

In order to catch everyone up to speed, I decided to do this post in fractured, bullet point prose. So heeeeere we go.

• At her last Dr's appointment, she was at the 55th percentile in weight, 90th percentile in height and....OFF THE CHART in head circumference.

• Took her first plane ride up to San Jose to meet more Ishimatsus. She was fine, Mom was a wreck.

• She rolls like a champ. It doesn't seem all that intentional, but she can eventually shimmy to where she needs to be.



• Can sit up for fairly long periods of time, which she seems to love. (except when she hits her aforementioned unusually large head on the hard wood floor at the Y. Ouch)

• Bops around to music while sitting. Sadly, she seems to love Tone Loc and Snap most of all. (Lest you worry about our musical taste, let me explain. I'm not listening to that on purpose... they play that at the exercise class I take at the Y. REALLY!)

• Has begun solids. We're still expermenting, but she seems to love pears, apples, and avocados. Peas, sweet potato, not so much.



• Makes the most amazing monster noises. Quite frightening, really.

• Has started swimming class. Can now freestyle 50 meters and backstroke, we're still working on the butterfly.
