One year ago today, Tomie was on the verge of entering the world. I'll have to check the official record, but as of 12:34 am on February 20th, 2006, I think I had already been induced and we were anxiously awaiting active labor to begin...
But yes, it is her birthday today. Wow. It's mind-boggling to think about the sum of one year. All the cliches are true...time flies, but it is also made up of seconds, minutes, hours, days etc. It hardly seems like any time at all, but I also can barely remember life without her. (but that may have to do more with sleep deprivation than the passing of time.)
So what do we have here? A girl with A LOT of personality, who seems to change daily, is growing like a weed, and has her mommy and daddy absolutely smitten.

happy birthday, T! wow, i can't believe she's already one ... i think it is clear we haven't seen each other enough recently. the babies are gonna be like, "who the heck are you?!" when they see each other!
