Off the charts!
Tomie went in for her one year baby wellness visit at Kaiser.Her weight and height are both roughly at the 50th percentile. And her head remains....
OFF THE CHARTS!
Other than that, here's what's up with the little girl is up to.
- She is cruising quite nicely with anything she can. Tomie can take a few wobbly steps as she thrusts herself into awaiting arms
- We are finally seeing the emergence of her top two teeth. Yey! I was afraid I was going to have to chew things up for her and then regurgitate it back to her, bird style.
- We are trying to expand her food repertoire beyond Gerber's. So far, she'll eat fruit, bread, cheerios, crackers, and senbei. Word on the street is that she's also a refried bean fanatic, but we have yet to see that at home.
- We're working on the concept of sharing.

Big head must mean big brains, and lots of it. I'm sure her body will someday grow into her head size. As for the "game" of offering something and taking it away, don't you just wish you could do that with other grown ups? Children are so inhibition-free!

uh, you guys need to work a little harder on that last point with her (the concept of sharing). until you get it, i'm keeping my toys away from her. :-) just joking!
